Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone

MERCER FUELS LIMITED - ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last Updated: August 2026

1. Our Commitment

Mercer Fuels is committed to making our website accessible and useful for everyone, including people who use assistive technologies or need alternative ways to access information.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of caring for our neighbors. We continue to look for ways to improve the experience of using our website and welcome feedback when something creates a barrier.

2. Our Accessibility Goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is a goal and an ongoing effort. We do not claim that every part of the website currently meets every WCAG 2.1 Level AA criterion, and we have not represented this website as certified or formally audited.

3. Steps We Take

As part of our ongoing work, we aim to:

  • Use semantic HTML to give pages a clear structure.
  • Support navigation and interactive features with a keyboard.
  • Provide meaningful alternative text for images where it helps explain their purpose.
  • Use readable text and color contrast that follows our brand palette.
  • Keep improving the clarity and usability of page content and controls.
4. Known Limitations

A focused pre-launch review in August 2026 identified areas where we are continuing to improve the website. These include the mobile navigation experience, consistent shortcuts and landmarks for reaching the main content, the contrast of some text on light backgrounds, and how some forms communicate required fields and errors to assistive technologies.

Online ordering, bill payment, furnace-cleaning requests, and some other parts of the website use third-party embedded forms provided by Jotform. We may not be able to fully control or correct their keyboard behavior, screen-reader announcements, or other accessibility features.

If you have difficulty using an embedded form or any other part of the website, please contact us. We will do our best to provide the information or assistance you need through another available method.

5. Feedback and Contact

Please tell us if you have an accessibility question, need help accessing information, or would like to report a barrier. When you contact us, it is helpful to include the page you were visiting and a description of the difficulty, but please do not include sensitive personal information.

We appreciate your feedback and will consider it as we continue to improve the accessibility of our website.
